Let's take a walk - Love in Barcelona 2/5

During my trip to Barcelona, I was inspired to do a watercolor series of either people, architecture, or my own photographs.  This painting was inspired by the couple who were taking a stroll in the morning. The sun was rising and was bestowing the land below with a beautiful glow, hence the reason I painted the sun with gold leaf.  There were tall, majestic trees on either side of the path and watching this couple walk hand in hand was beautiful.  The couple had to be in their 70's or 80's and watching at them walk, looking at each other, and stopping to kiss each other, gave me hope of pure love being out there.
